Frequently asked Questions

Why hire a videographer? Why choose me?
I truly want to provide couples a video to look back on their special day. Weddings are stressful, and the day itself goes by so fast. You forget to actually enjoy it. A video can be a special anniversary gift the couple can watch every year.
As far as why choose Katy Cooper… well all I ever wanted to do was film. It took me a long time to find that one thing that makes me happy. Once I started doing weddings, it was the best experience and I knew I wanted to continue.

  • Why the Price?

First I want to say that I have compared around with several individuals and did the research. Second, I had to try and evaluate my time and talent together. I add my time/hours filmed on the day of wedding plus the time I usually take to edit the video.
Weddings are not cheap. I can only hope you see my work and feel inspired. I also take huge pride by saying I display my pricing for everyone to see. Everyone gets the same result. No need to fill out a form to get a quote! A lot of companies won’t provide prices on their websites, which irritates me to no end.

  • How can I pay?
No need to worry! I provide you a payment plan option. Pay in incriminates that you can afford. I take Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash, and Check (made to Katy Cooper). There are some who like to pay all at once and get it over with while others need an option to pay $100 at a time, it is completely up to you. Just discuss details with me, and I’m sure we can figure something out!!

  • How does deposit work?

$50 deposit is required for official booking. NO need to worry though, it goes towards your payment!

  • Why is the flash drive a separate charge?

Getting a flash drive requires me to buy one with enough storage to hold everything I record. If you get a flash drive you will get all un-edited video clips that I record for the whole day and I also edit a separate video of just the ceremony as a special bonus.

  • How do I get my video?
Couples receive a digital download of video through Google Drive and potentially put on my YouTube page!
